IRNA - Iran is safe' and its security situation is acceptable despite of some certain moves which are common all over the world, said the countrys Police Commander Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari.
Ashtari made the remarks Sunday while addressing a local gathering in the city of Qom, 125 km southwestern of the capital Tehran.
Referring to the fact that enemies' plots to disturb Irans security are becoming more complicated, he said that national intelligence capabilities were reinforced to face the new situation.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ashtari pointed to the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's 12 demands to topple the Islamic system in Iran, saying, He [Pompeo] knows nothing about the power of Iranian people and its Armed Forces.'
'After the victory of Islamic Revolution, enemies created various crises at borders and imposed war on Iran, but the Iranian nation could overcome all those threats with their braveries and self-sacrifice,' Ashtari stressed.
