IRNA � Iran is preparing for the 3rd edition of Tehran Security Conference due to be held within the next few months.


The first preparatory session for Tehran Security Conference was held on Saturday with participation of more than 40 ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from different countries.

Peace and security in West Asia region, Iran nuclear deal, and cooperation between Iran and Europe will be on the agenda of the 3rd edition of Tehran Security Conference.

Jalal Dehqani Firouzabadi, the head of the secretariat of the Conference, said that the first edition of the Conference was held in 2015 and the second edition, held in 2016, was widely welcomed both within the country and abroad.

The Third edition of the Conference is due to be held on January 21-22, 2019.
