MNA � Iranian senior MP Falahatpisheh said on Monday that insecurity and crises in the Middle East will directly affect Europe and other parts of the world.







�The insecurity and crises of the region [the Middle East] will directly affect Europe and other countries of the world,� said Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, the Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament.

The Iranian MP made the remarks on Monday in Tehran during a meeting with Michael Klor Berchtold, the German Ambassador to Tehran.

In the opening of the meeting, Mr. Falahatpisheh referred to �good and historic relations� between Iran and Germany and added �interactions and cooperation between Iran and Germany has always been in diverse areas and in line with securing the interests of the people of the two countries.�

The Iranian lawmaker also described the level of economic and commercial relations between the two countries as lower than expectation and called for expansion of joint projects to tap the capacities of both Iran and Germany.

The Iranian Member of Parliament then referred to regional developments and warned that insecure Middle East will let insecurity spread in all across the world.

�The principle policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been to contribute to provision of security and stability in the region and Iran has paid weighty costs on this path so far including hundreds of Iranian martyrs who lost their lives for fighting terrorism and drug smuggling; drug smugglers who were after reaching European borders and creating insecurity in there,� underlined the Iranian legislator.

�Unfortunately some countries, including US, are always after creating crisis and insecurity in the region and the world and are now supporting terrorists like the ISIL and other grouplets to realize their ominous objectives through different ways,� he lashed out at US policies in the region.

The German diplomat, for his part in this meeting, re-voiced his country�s support for the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action). �Mr. Berchtold asked Iran to remain in the agreement.

�Bolstering and strengthening relations, in all areas, with the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been the top priority of German politicians and officials,� he underlined.

He also said that US sanctions on third-parties doing business with Iran is against the international law and affirmed that the EU categorically condemns US unilateral measures against Iran.
