IRNA � Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec on Friday reaffirmed his country�s support for Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).


In a meeting with Iran�s Ambassador in Ljubljana Morteza Darzi-Ramandi, he hailed improvement of bilateral relations, saying that the JCPOA can serve as a model for settlement of international challenges.

Referring to Iran�s regional status, Slovenian official hailed Iran�s key role in resolving regional crises.

Iran�s envoy, for his part, appreciated the Slovenian government and foreign ministry�s assistance to promote bilateral ties.

Darzi-Ramandi whose term has come to an end also presented a report on the latest situation of Iran-Slovenia ties in various fields, trade and economy in particular.
