Iran, Guinea stress expansion of trade ties

MNA Iranian ambassador Vahid-Kiani and Guineas Minister of Investments Gabriel Curtis held a meeting in Conakry on Wed. to stress expansion of trade cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, Iranian ambassador to Conakry, Hamidreza Vahid-Kiani, voiced Iranian companies readiness to participate in various projects in the West African country, including construction of roads, dams, ports, airports, and industrial towns.

The Guinean side announced the participation of 15 businessmen at the third Exports Capabilities Exhibition of Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran Expo 2018), scheduled for October 20 to 23, 2018 at Tehrans Shahr-e-Aftab International Fairground.

Minister Gabriel Curtis also welcomed the participation of Iranian companies in his countrys projects, voicing readiness on behalf of Guineas private companies for joint cooperation with the Iranian side.

A delegation of three businessmen from Guinea participated at the 2nd edition of Iran Expo, during which the sides reached an agreement on a $45 million contract for construction of a 900-unit town and two industrial factories in Conakry by Iranian companies.
