SHANA - Irans production of gas condensate is planned to exceed a million barrels per day the second half of the next Iranian calendar year which begins on March 21, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said.
Speaking in a televised interview, the official said that Irans crude oil production will remain at around 4 mbd this calendar year but gas condensate will increase from 700,000 b/d to about a million barrels per day as new phases of the supergiant South Pars gas field are planned to come on-stream this calendar year.
