MNA Irans Hossein Jaberi Ansari and Swedish State Secretary Annika Söder met Sun. in Tehran to discuss the latest developments in West Asia and Middle East regions.
Iranian Foreign Ministers Special Assistant in Political Affairs Hossein and the visiting State Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Annika Söder, held a meeting on Sunday to confer on the latest developments in the West Asia region and the ongoing crises in Syria and Yemen.
During the talks, the two sides stressed joint cooperation in settling regional conflicts and conferred on the latest developments regarding the constitution committee adopted by the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi, and the ways to put the committee on track as soon as possible.
They also discussed the recent talks between Iran and the E4 (Britain, Germany, France, and Italy) in Rome, which focused on the situation in Yemen.
The Iranian delegation at the Rome meeting was headed by Jaberi Ansari, who described the talks with European diplomats as 'good'. The EU statement issued at the end of the meeting also deemed the political talks with Iran constructive and announced the next round of the talks to be held in Brussels in the near future.
