MNA � Behrouz Kamalvandi, Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), met with visiting ROSATOM's Deputy Director General for International Relations Nikolay Spassky in Tehran on Wed.

Iran's AEOI Deputy for International, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Behrouz Kamalvandi met with Nikolay Spassky, Deputy Director General for International Relations of ROSATOM, on Wednesday.

The official of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) met the Russian side in Tehran as Spassky is visiting Iran at the head of a delegation.

During this meeting, they exchanged views on the latest status of the current joint projects of the AEOI and ROSATOM, including the second and third units of Bushehr Nuclear Plant, rebuilding Iran's Fordo fuel enrichment plant to produce stable isotopes, cooperation in providing fuel for research power plants, and a host of other bilateral issues.

The two sides also conferred on different aspects of the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, AKA Iran deal, signed by Iran and P5+1 on July 14, 2015 in Vienna) and its future. They also exchanged views on the latest status of the commitments of the sides of the deal.
