IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution underlined the importance of spreading philosophy and rational sciences in Tehran and Qom seminaries.

'Omission of philosophy from Qom Seminary curriculum will cause some superficial individuals to teach the subject, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a meeting with officials in charge of holding the ceremony in commemoration of Hakim Aqa Ali Modarres Zonouzi.

Text of the Ayatollah's speech in the meeting was read out today to the participants of the ceremony.

According to History of Philosophy Hakim Aqa Ali Modarres Zonouzi 'has carefully investigated the issue of corporeal resurrection and provided a new analysis in this regard.'

Ayatollah Khamenei, in the meeting, called on the officials to introduce the great philosophers and their philosophical viewpoints to the academic society.

The Leader further said the youth should be urged to learn about rational sciences.
