A senior Iranian commander has stressed the military might of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), saying that the IRGC has thousands of missiles at its disposal to be used in case of any potential threat against Iran.
Today, thousands of missiles are ready to be fired at any desired target that is part of the enemies vital interests in the region, Deputy Commander of the IRGC Brigadier General Hossein Salami said on Saturday.

Iran currently stands at the apex of its power while the enemies strength is on the wane, he added.

The greatest achievement of Irans Islamic Revolution is that the country has achieved self-sufficiency in military and defense industries, and is dependent on no foreign power, said the top general.

Over the past years, Iran has made important breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems.

The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured other nations, especially its neighbors, that its military might poses no threat to other countries, insisting that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.
