Press TV- Iranian male and female Paralympic athletes have put aconvincingend to their campaignatthe 10th edition of Fazza International Athletics Championships Dubai 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates, and received 23 medals, including six gold ones, at the prestigious event.
On Friday and the final day of the competitions at the Dubai Club for the Disabled in Dubai, Iranian pitcher Abdolreza Jokar threw 19.74 meters in the mens javelin throw F53/54 section, and was awarded the gold medal.
Irans Ali Beit Sayyah vied in the men's shot put F41 category competitions, and claimed the bronze medal with a throw of 11.17 meters.
Additionally, Iranian Paralympic discus throwerAli Shamshiri stood atop the podium with a throw of 44.30 meters at the end of mens discus throw F12 category contests.
MehdiOulad registered a throw of 38.60 meters in the mens F11 division competitions, and snatched the silver medal.
The 10th edition of Fazza International Athletics Championships Dubai 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix started on March 13 and ran through March 16.
