Press TV - Iranian male and female Paralympic athletes have shown commendable performances at the 10th edition of Fazza International Athletics Championships � Dubai 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates, and�scooped nine medals.
On Tuesday, Hamed Amiri competed�in the men's�shot put�F53 event�at the Dubai Club for the Disabled in Dubai, and recorded a throw of 11.20 meters to�snatch the gold medal.
Zafar Zaker, another Iranian representative,�managed to�earn silver in the men's shot put F55 category, having thrown the shot 8 meters and 81 centimeters.
Additionally, Alireza Mahmoudi and Abdulnabi Nawaser picked up two bronze medals in the men�s shot put F54 and F44 classifications.
Hashem Rastegari got the bronze medal in the men�s B2 200-meter�dash.
In the women's javelin throw F34�division, Iranian pitcher Faezeh Kermani earned the bronze medal with her�best effort of 16.71 meters on Tuesday.
Earlier in the tournament, Iranian athletes Mehdi Oulad, Hakimeh Goudarzi and Rahman Zamani had respectively earned a gold, a silver and bronze medal.
The 10th edition of Fazza International Athletics Championships � Dubai 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix started on March 13 and will run through March 16.
