IRNA Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a telephone conversation with his Bolivian counterpart late Thursday discussed regional developments.
Bilateral ties, international developments and Bolivias principled stance in giving a negative vote to a draft resolution on Yemen were among the major topics discussed by the two foreign ministers during their telephone talk.
A Britain-proposed resolution received 11 votes in favor, two againstRussia and Bolivia--while China and Kazakhstan abstained.
The draft resolution, supported by the US, accused Iran of violating UN arms embargo on Yemen.
Washington in a recent series of attempts has targeted Iran's missile capabilities, accusing Tehran of sending missiles to the Yemeni forces. Iran has rejected the allegations.
