Bahrain's Interior Minister on Wednesday said an Iranian drone was spotted in Bahrain's airspace in the northern part of the country near Saudi Arabia.
Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that Iran is increasingly meddling in the internal affairs of both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, adding that Bahrain has uncovered a terror cell linked to Iran.

"Iran's continual spying efforts including the recruitment of supporters are blatant interference in the internal affairs of the countries in the region," he said, calling for greater vigilance to maintain security and stability in the Gulf nations.
