Sputnik - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has invited South Korean President Moon Jae-in to Pyongyang for a third intra-Korean summit, media reported on Saturday.
The invitation tovisit Pyongyang atthe "earliest date" was delivered byKim's sister Kim Yo Jong, the Yonhap news agency reported citing presidential administration.
Kim Yo Jong is a member ofthe North Korean governmentdelegationthat arrived atthe opening ofthe Olympics inPyeongchang. On Saturday morning she, alongwith other high-ranking members ofthe delegation, visited the presidential palace and attended a dinner hosted bythe President ofSouth Korea. According tothe agency, the delegates were invited inperson.
Moon suggested the two Koreas "make it happen" bycreating conditions needed forhim toaccept the invitation, the spokesman told ata news briefing.
A visit byMoon tothe North would enable the first summit betweenleaders fromthe two Koreas since2007.
