IRNA - Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi on Friday invited all Iranians throughout the country to hold the 22nd of Bahman demonstrations, marking the 39th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran on Feb 11.


Addressing a local gathering in the holy city of Qom in southwest of Tehran, Commander Mousavi said Iranian people would slap the enemies, US and the Zionists regime of Israel in the face during the rallies.

Touching upon the role of enemies in fanning the flames of different seditions in Iran, he added that the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia were trying to create insecurity near the Islamic Republic's borderlines but eventually they were defeated.

Commander Mousavi also reiterated that Saudi Arabia's dream for partition of Iran and annihilating the Iranian nation would never come true.
