IRNA Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov and Political Director of the Foreign Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Karen Pierce reviewed Iran nuclear deal.
The officials exchanged views on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to resolve the situation concerning the Iranian nuclear programme, and discussed a number of other current issues related to non-proliferation and arms control, Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.
Russia and the UK are two members of the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, Frnce, Britain and China plus Germany) and they call for full implementation of Iran deal officially known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
This is while the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has repeatedly verified Iran compliance with the nuclear accord.
