IRNA - Iranian armed forces closely monitor all moves taken by the enemies, a military official said stressing that Iran's military doctrines is based on defense.
Iran will give strong response to any aggressive move against the country, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan, Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Center for Strategic Studies, said at a local meeting in Qom, west of Tehran, on Friday evening.
'We have accurate information about the enemies' vessels in the waters around the country, and our military experts are introducing the defense capacities corresponding to the enemies' capabilities,' Pourdastan said.
'We won't be blindsided by the enemies,' the military official added.
He further said that the Iranian armed forces aim to strengthen their deterrent capabilities to prevent any attack on the country.
The arrogant power is after making the Takfiri terrorist groups powerful in order to hurt the Islamic system, Pourdastan added.
About the terrorist group of Daesh (ISIS) which was defeated in late November, Pourdastan said Daesh was not far from Iran; however, it could not come close to the country due to [powerful] presence of the Iranian armed forces which are ready enough to defend the country.
Commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Qasem Soleimani in a letter to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on November 21, 2017, announced the termination of the corrupt tree of Daesh and congratulated the glorious victory to the Islamic World.
As Pourdastan said, the enemies are making day by day plots against the World of Islam, but their plans are foiled because the Muslims have joined their hands and are united.
He referred to the Syrian and Iraqi youths' battle with Takfiri terrorists as an example of unity and convergence between the Muslims.
