IRNA A senior official in Iran's Foreign Ministry said on Friday that the ministry is ready for reciprocal visa-free arrangement with any country.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Expatriates' Affairs Hassan Qashqavi said on Friday that Iran is ready to apply a similar condition for citizens of those countries that respect the Iranian passport and set visa-free entry for the citizens.
'Although we are in a tense region, vigilance of security and military forces will leave no security concern in this regard,' he said.
As to a visa-free arrangement with Iraq, he said Iran has declared that whenever Baghdad announces no-visa entry for Iranians, Tehran will implement the same condition for Iraqi citizens.
The office of electronic visa for foreigners at the international airport of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran was inaugurated on Thursday.
The citizens of 180 countries now can obtain 90-day electronic visas at the airport in 30 minutes.
