MNA At a meeting with Iran's new ambassador to France, the French president called for continuation of the JCPOA and constructive relations with Iran.
At a meeting with French president at Elysee Palace on Monday, Irans new ambassador to France Abolghassem Delfi submitted his credentials and talked about the relations between the two countries and developments in the Middle East region.
The Iranian new ambassador to France explained the position of our country regarding the developments in the region saying "the Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized on the resolution of the regional issues through dialogue and opposes any kind of foreign intervention."
Delfi referred to the long-standing relations between Iran and France and positive developments in relations between the two countries after the implementation of the JCPOA, and stressed on the positive effects of Iran and Frances consultations on the stability in the region.
The French president, for his part, said "the French are looking for dialogue and constructive relations with Iran," and stressed on continuations of the nuclear deal.
Regarding the regional developments, Macron said that France is willing to talk with Iran about regional issues and it is pleased with the good relations between the two countries ministries.
