IAEA striving to resolve differences with Iran in fresh talks

VIENNA, May 15 (Xinhua) -- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will continue trying to finalize nuclear inspection documents regarding Iran's disputed nuclear program in spite of differences between the two sides, an official of the UN nuclear watchdog said Wednesday.
Herman Nackaerts, IAEA deputy director-general, told reporters his team was starting a new round of talks with Iran in Vienna over a nuclear inspection framework to conduct investigations into "possible military dimensions."

"As you know differences remain but we are committed to dialogue and we are determined to solve these issues so we will be working hard today to resolve the differences," Nackaerts said.

The two sides failed to make progress in meetings over the last year. Western officials doubt Iran is committed to finalizing the framework with the agency, while Iran says they are serious about finding a resolution.
