SHANA -- An official with the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) says international relations has promoted Iran's petrochemical industry, adding such ties can guarantee enhanced productivity of the country's plants.
Ali Mohammad Bossaqzadeh, director of production control at NPC, said given the promising atmosphere created in the wake of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), relations with international petrochemical heavyweights and licensors have increased with Iranian companies. NIPNA reported.
"For the time being, at least 9 plants have so far been overhauled by state-of-the-art technical savvy," he added.
Bossaqzadeh, who is also a member of the board of directors at NPC, said bolstering international relations can guarantee enhanced production of facilities in the country, adding the sanctions hampered productivity of the plants in recent years but Iran's petrochemical industry is now on the path to progress thanks to enjoying access to the latest technologies in the field.
