IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed mutual cooperation with Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan in Yerevan on Tuesday.

Zarif, who arrived in Yerevan on Tuesday morning at the head of a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, discussed bilateral ties, regional and international issues with Prime Minister Karapetyan.

In his one-day visit to Armenia, Zarif also met with Armenia Foreign Minister Eduardo Nalbandyan and attended joint economic meeting of Iran-Armenia.

During the meeting, ways to expand economic and trade cooperation and investment opportunities in Iran and Armenia were considered and discussed.

Zarif is to meet Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to discuss bilateral relations with him.
