MNA � The first International Conference on Followers of Ahl al-Bayt (family of Prophet Muhammad) vs. the Takfiri Issue wrapped up on Thursday.

The event kicked off in Tehran on November 22, with over 500 Sunni and Shia scholars from 94 countries together with 250 Iranian scholars in attendance.

The conference mainly aimed to create unity among Muslims, as well as to introduce the school of Ahl al-Bayt and the methods to fight Takfirism, which is the dark ideology of ISIL terrorists and is mostly rooted in Wahhabism.
