IRNA � Uruguay's vice president on Sunday called for development of relations between Tehran and Montevideo in various fields.


Lucia Topolansky, Uruguay's vice president who is also the country's senate speaker made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Montevideo Abolfazl Pasandideh.

He praised the good relations between Iran and Uruguay and underlined the necessity for broadening of mutual cooperation between the two sides in various fields.

During the meeting, the Iranian envoy conveyed congratulatory messages of Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri and Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani to Topolansky.
