IRNA � The 12th International Shari'ah Scholars Forum (ISSF12) has taken place in Malaysia with the attendance of Islamic Republic of Iran.


The two day event, happened at a hotel near Kuala Lumpur, has been organized by the International Shari'ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA).

Hojatoleslam Gholamreza Mesbahi Moghaddam member of Shari'ah Scholars for Bourse Securities and Stock Exchange Organization represented Iran at the event.

Hojatoleslam Mesbahi Moghaddam delivered a speech in the meeting and elaborated on the Shari'ah and scientific issues pertaining to the Islamic economy.

The forum is to regulate the principles of Shari'ah with efficient economy.

According to the figures released in the Forum, volume of trade exchanges among Islamic countries stood at more than two trillion dollars with an annual growth of 18 percent.

Over 200 participants from 30 countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Egypt, the UAE, Sudan, the US, Nigeria and Iran took part in the forum.
