IRNA - Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Monday that the second trilateral summit of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan Republic will to be held here on Wednesday.


He added that the first trilateral summit was held in Baku.

Qasemi said that bilateral meetings will also be held on the sidelines of the summit.

The agenda of the summit is very extensive and includes different topics, including fight against terrorism and further cooperation in the field.

The spokesman reminded that as of Wednesday early morning Tehran will be hosting its esteemed guests until Wednesday evening.

Qasemi added that high-ranking officials will accompany their presidents during the visit, so it would be a valuable opportunity to discuss and consult issues of mutual interest by the three states.
