SHANA - Head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Masoud Khansari says the private sectors of Iran and South Africa can cooperate in oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.
Addressing an economic forum held in Pretoria, Khansari said Tehran Economic Chamber, as Iran's private sector parliament, has a crucial role in macro-economic decision making of the country.
Iranian companies are ready to cooperate with South African ones in investment in oil, gas and petrochemical sectors and export of energy items, he said.
He said South Africa is a big import of bitumen and other petroleum products and Iran can supply a major part of the African country's need for these items.
