Iran to dispatch workforce to four countries, official says

Tasnim A senior official at Irans Ministry of Cooperative, Labor and Welfare said the country plans to send unemployed people to foreign countries, including Australia, Oman, Turkey and Tajikistan.





Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Mohammad Akbarnia said with the cooperation of the Foreign Ministry as well as Iranian embassies abroad, the Ministry of Cooperative, Labor and Welfare has coordinated the dispatch of those jobless to a number of foreign countries.

Fortunately, (necessary) coordination has been made and we managed to establish four employment offices in Australia, Oman, Turkey, and Tajikistan through which we can dispatch the workforce to the countries, he said.

The offices facilitate the dispatch of the workforce, he said, adding that they would also provide legal and social support for the Iranian nationals employed in those countries.

During a ceremony back in August, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani vowed to take fundamental steps to combat unemployment and improve the countrys economy based the policies of the Resistance Economy in his second term in office.

Rouhani further pledged to take necessary measures to elevate Irans position and have effective interactions with the world based the countrys Constitution.
