SHANA - Hashemi Nejad Gas Refinery has processed over 6 billion cubic meters of sour gas over the course of the first 6 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.
Managing director of the facility Majid Monabbati said the plant was supposed to receive 5.6 bcm of gas during the period but it received and processed over 6.1 bcm, up 8% from the facility's planned operation.
He said the refinery also supplied 5.31 bcm of gas to the national gas trunklines.
Moreover, it produced 253,000 tons of sulfur which was 8% higher than its expected output.
