IRNA Iran's Ambassador to France Abolghasem Delfi said that there exits huge capacity to broaden relations and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and France, it was announced on Wednesday.
He made the remarks in a meeting with the President of French Association for Urban and business development Arnaud Franois at the premises of the Iranian ambassador in Paris on Tuesday.
France is ready to broaden cooperation with Tehran in urban development, Franois said.
'Nuclear deal with Iran has opened a new chapter in broadening relations with other countries and we are now ready to expand scope of jointly run cooperation with the European member states such as France,' the Iranian ambassador said.
Relations between Iran and France is very deeply rooted and we believe that the approach adopted by the new French president in dealing with expansion of mutual relations and regional developments can prepare grounds for expansion of political and economic cooperation between the two sides.
Resolving banking problems help increase volume of trade exchange between the two countries, the ambassador said.
