Tasnim An Iranian vice president voiced the countrys readiness to deal with all scenarios regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), saying a decision on reaction to the possible US withdrawal from the nuclear deal would be made at the highest level.

Asked by reporters about Irans response to the US administrations possible move to scrap the JCPOA, the nuclear agreement between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany), Mohammad Nahavandian said on Wednesday that any decision about such a reaction would be made at the highest level.

He also hailed the plans that the Iranian parliament has devised to respond to any violation of the JCPOA, saying the course of events should be wisely monitored by Tehran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has reminded the US government of the high price it will have to pay in case of withdrawing from the nuclear accord, saying Washington could never stop implementing the JCPOA at a cost to Iran.

Iran and the Group 5+1 reached the 159-page nuclear agreement in July 2015 and implemented it in January 2016.
