MNA � The head of International Telecommunication Union has congratulated Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi on being appointed as the Minister of Communication and Information Technology of Iran.


Houlin Zhao, the head of International Telecommunication Union (ITU), has expressed his support in a letter addressed to Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi and wished him success in this position.

�I am delighted that you have been appointed as the minister of Communication and Information Technology of Iran. I would like to express my most sincere felicitations over your appointment. I assure you that you will have the full support of me and my colleagues in preserving the relations between the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Iran and the International Telecommunication Union," Zhao said in the message on Wednesday.
