SHANA -- The petrochemical companies operating in Mahshahr Special Petrochemical Energy Zone (Petzone) will launch 7 infrastructure projects in the region by the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 20 2018.

Secretary of the strategic council of Mahshahr Petrochemical Companies Abdolreza Gholami said the companies have financed the projects in line with their corporate social responsibilities.

Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marziyeh Shahdaei on Tuesday launched 16 such projects in the region with an investment of IRR 200b.

The projects include railway station, swimming pools, parks, a silo, a dormitory for athletes, etc.
