IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Sunday that carrying out economic diplomacy and implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will top the agenda of the foreign ministry during the 12th government tenure.


Speaking to reporters after the first meeting of the 12th government, he said from early days after the implementation of the JCPOA, the US started its disloyalties and we had no option except to move forward phase to phase, and we are determined to continue the path with the same policy.

The above policies will be pursued taking into account the new approach which will be defined by the foreign ministry, Zarif said.

He also expressed the hope that the foreign ministry would walk in line with principled policies of the 12th government.
