IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said opening an air link between Iran and Kyrgyzstan and solving visa and banking problems will pave the way for developing ties.
Zarif made the remarks Friday in a meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart Abdyldaev Erlan Bekeshovich.
He also expressed Iran's interests in maintaining cooperation between the two countries in energy, agriculture and transit fields.
Meanwhile, Erlan Bekeshovich voiced congratulations over Iran democratic elections.
He went on to say that Iran presidential elections led to bolstering Iran's regional and international status.
He also welcomed establishing cooperation between the two countries in small and medium-sized enterprises, mines, agriculture, railway, power plants and building dams.
