The Iranian Army's Ground Forces have unveiled a new indigenous simulator for Bell 214 helicopter, presenting the forces latest achievement in the simulation field.
The simulator was showcased at a Sunday ceremony attended by Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan and a group of other Iranian commanders.
The equipment, which is capable of simulating all emergency flights, will be employed in the training of pilots.
The simulator will significantly reduce the costs of training flights as well as human and financial losses.
On April 20, the Iranian Ground Forces also unveiled a new indigenous T-72 Tank simulator.
Over the past years, Iran has made important breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems.
Last week, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Iran would unveil indigenous ballistic and cruise missiles as well as other new military achievements by the next five months.
