MNA � A high-ranking delegation from Patriotic Union of Iraqi Kurdistan (PUK) is scheduled to hold talks with Iran�s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani in Tehran on Monday.

The delegation is headed by the PUK�s Deputy Secretary Generals Kosrat Rasul Ali and Chief of Executive Body of the union�s Political Bureau, Mala Bakhtiar.

It was previously announced that the PUK delegation would be headed by the Union�s president Jalal Talebani, who had been excluded from the political scene as a result of a brain stroke.

The delegation is slated to meet Ali Shamkhani on Monday evening to discuss the latest developments in Iraqi Kurdistan and the region, including the measures and decisions taken for establishment of security in the wake of Mosul liberation from ISIL terrorists.
