No evidence proving martyrdom of kidnapped Iranian diplomats:Official

IRNA Secretary-General of International Conference in Support of Palestine Intifadha said that the Iranian diplomats and journalist kidnapped in Lebanon in 1982 are currently in the Zionist regimes prisons and there is no evidence proving their martyrdom.


Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in his telegram account on Tuesday that the UN and Red Cross Society should seriously resume their efforts to determine the fates of Mohsen Mousavi, Ahmad Motavasselian, Kazem Akhavan and Taqi Rastgar-Moqaddam.

Majlis will soon begin new measures in line with attempts to determine the fates of the revolutionary diplomats and journalist, said Amir-Abdollahian.

On July 4, 1982, Ahmad Motavasselian, Mohsen Mousavi and Taqi Rastgar-Moqaddam, three diplomats of Iranian Embassy in Lebanon, along with Kazem Akhavan, IRNAs photojournalist were held captive by the Lebanese Phalange forces on their way to work on the route of Tripoli-Beirut.
