IRNA International Quds Day is a day which reminds the Islamic Ummah to remain vigilant against the enemies plots, an Iranian Sunni cleric said on Wednesday.
Talking to IRNA, Molavi Abdolsamad Karimzaei, a Sunni Muslim cleric and the Friday Prayers Leader of Iranshahr town, in southern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, said all Muslims, the Sunni people in particular, would attend the International Quds Day rallies this year as before.
He added all the Muslims and freedom-seekers across the globe wish for freedom of Muslims first Qibla from the Zionist regime occupation.
The Sunni cleric reiterated that the Muslims should be united to clean the holy land of Palestine off the Cancerous tumor of Israel.
International Quds Day rallies are held annually on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan.
The day of anti-Zionist expression was first declared by Late Imam Khomeini, the Leader of Irans 1979 Islamic Revolution who established the annual event in order to bring international attention to the Palestinian cause.
Iranians demonstrate their hatred for the Zionist occupiers of the Palestinian territories each year during the Quds Day rallies nationwide and unanimously urge the liberation of the occupied lands and make the world hear voice of the defenseless Palestinian nation.
