IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif conferred with former UN secretary general Kofi Annan on the sidelines of the Oslo Forum.


During the meeting, Zarif and Annan discussed a range of international and regional issues.

Zarif who arrived in Norway�s capital, Oslo, on Monday took part in Oslo Forum 2017 June 13-14.

Top Iranian diplomat also exchanged views on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini at Oslo Grand Hotel.

Two-day Oslo Forum was also attended by US former secretary of states John Kerry as well as number of foreign ministers from different countries.

Zarif also talked with his Slovakian and Croatian counterparts as well as a number of intellectuals and researchers from Europe and the US on the margins of Oslo Forum.
