IRNA - The director of Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line (IRISL) said on Monday that the first Iranian wheat cargo left Imam Khomeini Port, Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, for Oman.
Saying that the cargo weighed 30,000 mrtric tons, Ali Akbar Qonji added that IRISL is ready to transport all exported goods from Iran.
Director General of Ports & Maritime Administration of Khuzestan Province Sadollah Abdullahi had earlier announced that in the current Iranian year (starting on March 21) about one million metric tons of wheat is to be exported via Imam Khomeini Port.
