IRNA � Visiting Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed a range of issues with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in a meeting held Wednesday evening.

Zarif left Tehran for Ankara on Wednesday morning within the framework of holding constant consultations between senior Iranian and Turkish officials.

During the meeting, both officials exchanged views on mutual cooperation, promoting banking collaboration, exchanging delegations at different levels and other issue of mutual interest.

Regional developments including Astana Talks on Syria were among topics discussed during the meeting.

Zarif also met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.
