, IRNA -- Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization (IBTO) announced on Saturday that Iran became World Health Organization (WHO) representative in the Eastern Mediterranean Region again.
WHO representative in EMRO Dr. Abdullah pointed to limited activities of three other centers in the region, called activities of IBTO with WHO effective and praiseworthy.
He expressed hope that the IBTO could also be frontier in research and educational activities.
Dr. Abdullah called lack of concentrated organization and lack of close connection with health ministers and senior directors among problems in the EMRO region.
Abdullah is in Iran to participate and supervise GMP regional workshop, which is holding by IBTO in Tehran.
