IRNA - Seven medical centers in different provinces of Iran were opened by President Hassan Rouhani on Monday.

The centers, which were inaugurated via video conference, are aimed at improvement and expansion of the health care services to 42 million people under cover of the Social Security Organization.

The centers are located in Khuzestan, Ilam, West Azarbaijan, Mzandaran, Kurdestan, Semnan and Kerman provinces.

Yesterday, two mega projects namely Persian Gulf Setareh Refinery and Saba Foulad (Steel) were also inaugurated by President Rouhani.

During the opening ceremony of Setareh Refinery, the president also congratulated Persian Gulf National Day, and said that with the inauguration of the first stage of Persian Gulf Star refinery of gas condensates, Iran became self-sufficient in producing gasoline.
