IRNA -- Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday conferred with his Greek counterpart Nikos Kotzias on expansion of mutual relations and cooperation.

Setting up 'Assembly of Ancient Civilizations in Athens' will prepare grounds for the expansion of cooperation and contribution among participating countries, Zarif said.

During the meeting, the two foreign ministers reviewed issues of mutual interest along regional and international developments.
