Zarif, Kyrgyz PM discuss bilateral ties

IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov discussed bilateral, regional and international issues here on Wednesday.

In the meeting, the two sides underlined the importance of mutual cooperation given the two counries close and historical relations.

Cooperation in different fields of economy, transit, tourism as well as using new capacities with the aim to promote bilateral relations were among topics negotiated in the meeting between Zarif and Jeenbekov.

During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Zarif also met with President Almazbek Atambayev and his counterpart Erlan Abdyldaev and delivered speech in joint economic meeting.

Kyrgyzstan is the last leg of Zarifs tour to three Central Asian and Caucasian states comprising Turkmenistan, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan that started on Sunday (April 16) at the head of a political and economic delegation.
