IRNA � Iran�s bid to guarantee itself the legitimate right to have access to the peaceful nuclear technology constitutes a genuine cause, says President Hassan Rouhani.


�The emphasis given by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the Iranian people to secure Iran the right to have access to nuclear technology and the slogan that �nuclear energy is our legitimate right� establishe a genuine cause,� President Rouhani said on Sunday on the 11th anniversary of Iran�s National Nuclear Technology Day.

�This is the same motto adopted by our veteran diplomats during nuclear talks in Lausanne, Geneva and New York,� he said.

President Rouhani also hailed nuclear achievements fulfilled by Iranian scientists over the past year.

�Forty-two nuclear projects were carried out in the year 1395 (Iranian Calendar, beginning on March 21, 2016),� he said.

The nuclear projects are the result of scientific and revolutionary management of Iranian scientists, the president said.
