MNA � Deputy-President for Parliamentary Affairs has hosted a Hungarian high-ranking delegation headed by country�s deputy-prime minister.


Mr. Hosseinali Amiri received Monday Mr. Zsolt Semj�n in a welcome ceremony and they sat in a meeting to discuss possibilities of improvements in bilateral relations. Mr. J�nos Latorcai Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary was also among the entourage visiting Tehran.
Mr. Amiri voiced grievances over what had been called by Tehran undermining the JCPOA by European parties to the deal and the US; he reiterated the criticism that the deal had only been partially implemented, leaving sanctions biting the economy especially banking sector. This, Mr. Amiri believed, would not serve any good to the international community.
On bilateral ties, deputy-president draw a positive prospect of the bilateral ties, especially after last year�s joint economic commission, a view Mr. Semj�n shared with him as well.
�Iran has remained committed to its obligations in the deal and expect to see that level of commitment by other parties accordingly; we want to see Hungary helps the implementation of the deal through working with its European partners and international allies; Iran welcomes full parliamentary ties with Hungary and sees the opportunities high for cooperation in nanotechnology, environment, renewable energies, tourism industry, and university exchange programs,� Mr. Amiri told the meeting.
Hungarian official for his part said Budapest viewed relations with Tehran important and worked to improve trade with Tehran. He also asserted his country�s outright rejection of sanctions against Iran and Russia; �Hungary had always rejected the sanctions believing that diplomacy would be a better solution instead,� he added.
Hungarian delegation arrived in Tehran Saturday evening and they continue visit up to the upcoming Saturday which will also include visits to some provinces, after some high-profile political meetings with Parliamentarians and the Cabinet members.
