IRNA An academic official said here on Sunday that Tehran University of Medical Sciences is attracting students from 36 countries.
Speaking in a local gathering, Deputy Head of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in International Affairs Ali Arab Kheradmand underlined 664 foreign students have been studying in this university since 2011.
He added attracting foreign students had so far brought about over four
million dollars income for the university.
The official added currently three American students are studying in Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Touching upon the US President Donald Trump executive order which banned entry to US of nationals of seven Muslim majority countries, he said the American students have not so far encountered any problems regarding their visas in Iran.
He also expressed hope that the university could attract a large number of students from China, Indonesia and Pakistan during the next Iranian calendar year (to start on March 21, 2017).
Arab Kheradmand underlined that Tehran University of Medical Sciences had also exchanged 25 professors with 14 countries so far.
